My baby is now 1 and I definitely intended to share this a long time ago, but I’m guilty of what most moms are guilty of. We want everything to be perfect and finished!! But I realized that just doesn’t really happen with a baby. So it may not be as perfect as I want it to be, but it is ‘hers’ and it’s beautiful! Before Evelyn graced our lives with her presence, her room was a guest room. We ended up leaving the guest bed in there and it’s been wonderfully helpful actually!! I can change her clothes on it now that she’s a baby alligator when she’s being changed and moves everywhere. It’s also great for folding laundry on, or nursing her. There’s a couple of special things in her room that I’ll link and explain below. These special pieces really add to the room and they mean alot to us! Her room is my favorite of the whole house so I’m very excited to share with all of you today!! Let me know what your favorite part of her room is in the comments!
The flower sash below was made by my SIL Amanda and I wore it for my baby shower, you may remember it being around my belly, and if you don’t, you can check it out at my baby shower post here! I just loved this sash so I added it to the decor in Evie’s room and I think it looks beautiful in here! Also- all the newborn pictures of Evelyn you see are taken by the oh so talented Amanda Ruzicka Photography.

The little bear on the right with angel wings is from her daddy, he bought it for her the day she was born! and this custom made crib was our baby shower present from our really good friends Dylan & Frankie Warzynski. I know we’ve said it before- but THANK YOU guys again for this crib. It’s beautiful, so sturdy and durable, and she sleep so well in it. We love it.
The gorgeous painted portrait here was painted by my college roommate who is incredibly talented!! This is the 2nd piece she’s done for me and I absolutely love it. If you are interested in a custom paint piece of your own, let me know and I can get you her contact info!!

Let me just say to expecting moms- the recliner in her room has been incredible for rocking and nursing, especially on those late nights!!

Just a few snaps of me and Evelyn in her room for us to remember. I know we aren’t perfectly styled but that’s life. and I’d rather have ALL the photos to look back on and remember than just the perfect ones.
and yes- one of her favorite hobbies is destroying her room and making it into a disaster! ha
