Ok guys- is it just me? or is getting professional pictures of your family just one of the very best things ever?? We had these taken last fall for our Christmas card by the talented Shaunae Teske over in beautiful Green Bay, Wisconsin and I’m obsessed. When I got them back, I had tears in my eyes. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m always behind the camera so I never have a whole lot of pictures taken with me in them with the family? or if it’s because I AM a photographer so I value photos as memories more than most people? or if it’s because I’m seeing my baby grow up literally right in front of my eyes every time I blink!!!? maybe it’s a combination of all of these things. The photos perfectly highlight myself and Kyle and our daughter Evelyn, as well as Kyle’s son Carter. If you scroll through, you’ll see how obsessed Evelyn is with Carter! He’s definitely one of her favorite people ever. Anyways, they are just so fun for me to look at so I thought I’d share them with you!
Lastly, a huge shoutout and thank you to Kyle for taking these pictures with me even though you hate your pictures taken. ha! You know how important they are to me so you willingly suck it up and do it and I love that about you. <3
This one is hilarious to me. Between Evelyn’s sassy face and Carter’s un-enthused attitude, it describes them pretty well and their thoughts on taking pictures. Ha!
