Pat and Amber are engaged! We had amazing fall colors for their engagement session and we had so much fun chatting about life and their wedding plans. Fall is such a hard time to plan a session because you never know what the weather is going to do. It could be 70 degrees or it could be snowing. Also it’s so hard to gauge when fall colors will be in peak. Somehow, even with a rainy forecast, we completely nailed this session. The colors were so so beautiful and we managed to get gorgeous images with the stormy sky right before it downpoured, what a win.
I think anyone that has followed along for any period of time knows I love when we can incorporate someone’s animals into their session, especially cows, and that’s just what we did!! This was the first time I was able to get photos of longhorn cattle and I just loved it, I could photograph those beautiful things for hours on end. The end of the session included some beautiful shots of Pat and Amber with the stormy sky approaching them from behind, and I totally LOVE them!! We finished just in the nick of time before it poured (last 2 photos in this blog post were in the pouring rain, so fun). We snapped a few in the rain to have as memories and then headed back to the barn to chat some more.
It’s safe to say that I cannot wait for their wedding next year. I love photographing them (like come on, Amber’s hair is just so beautiful), but love talking with them even more. Their wedding is sure to be a blast and have some awesome country western vibes!! So thanks so much Pat and Amber for allowing me to be a part of this special time in your lives and I’m honored to be your wedding photographer. Enjoy some of my favorites from the session below!!
