I had the hardest time choosing and narrowing down favorites to share in this post!! I could have shared so many more, but I wanted to really focus on hitting the high points. If you want to see more, feel free to scroll through my blog over the last year because every single one of these shoots is fully blogged on it’s own. And now without further adue, some of my favorites from 2020.
ith that said, I have EXCITING news to share!! Pop the confetti because Sydney + Jordan now have a wedding venue!!! They are taking over the wedding barn that they got married at over 3 years ago! What an incredibly special story and it just pulls at my heart strings.
We got some gorgeous fall photos with a farm vibe, which I LOVE! Pairing a farm styled session with my absolute favorite season to photograph was just the best. I’ve known Adam and Brooke for years so it felt like friends just chatting away at their engagement session, discussing all of their wedding plans. We also got to chat about their beef herd! Cows and weddings, what more could I ask for! ha!
High School Sweethearts George + LeeAnn couldn’t have had a more perfect or beautiful Wisconsin fall wedding. From the moment we started talking, I could tell LeeAnn was going to be just the sweetest bride, and I was right. This sweet couple actually lives in Texas and they planned a Wisconsin wedding because they got engaged on the Crystal River, so they wanted to get married on the Crystal River in Waupaca as well. George also worked in Wisconsin for 15 years which is the time when George + LeeAnn fell out of touch. But they found their way back to each other and decided to tie the knot. How stinking sweet!!
The ceremony was beautiful as they said their “I Do’s” in front of family and friends. And the portraits to follow with the fall colors in the background and the girls’ custom fall floral bouquets made my photographer heart sing.
What a year 2020 has been, for everyone. Covid definitely threw a wrench in Trevor + Maggie’s Wedding plans. However, they didn’t let it ruin their plans completely. These two fought the odds and got married in a catholic ceremony in front of their very closest family and friends. What an honor to be able to be there with them on this special day!
When it was finally time for Mason + Shanaya to say their “I do’s”, Mason couldn’t contain himself when his beautiful bride was walking down the aisle towards him. She was a vision in her dress with that stunning bouquet! They said their own hand written vows and it was the sweetest thing ever. You can absolutely tell how in love these two are and I was thrilled to play such an important role in their day. Their portraits were a dream and every single person was so welcoming and sweet throughout the day.
The rain persisted for about 30 min before the ceremony was suppose to start, making everyone very nervous. It stopped right as the ceremony was suppose to start so we only ran about 5 mins behind, what a blessing! Also- they say it’s good luck if it rains on your wedding day!
Tyler and Jessica are the most fun and hilarious couple, especially when they are together. Their wedding this past weekend couldn’t have been more beautiful. The weather, colors, everything was perfect!!
I remember when I started photographing weddings and thought if I ever got featured on Wisconsin Bride then I’ve really “made it”, whatever that means. And here we are!!!! Seeing MY photos on their website is just crazy!!
