5 REASONS I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHING SENIORS!
Senior Photography is very unique, it’s just about the only time in your life you will be photographed alone and get to display allll of your interests, hobbies, and personality! It’s a chance to showcase who you are and what your personality is through the pictures.
1-Every senior has unique interests and a unique personality. It is my MAIN goal to help those interests and that personality shine through each seniors picture of yours. I want to help you tell the world who you are!! This is why I send out a detailed questionnaire for you to fill out before your session, followed by a senior style guide to help you prepare!! The questionnaire allows me to get to know you before we meet. The style guide allows you to fully prepare for your session with no surpirses!
2- Since every senior has different hobbies and interests, each shoot pushes me to shoot new things in new ways. It pushes me into new artistic ways of shooting and I love that! My seniors often embrace the ideas I have which makes it that much better! Not only the photos we capture but the locations we choose to shoot in will help showcase who you are! The questionnaire will help us choose the perfect location/s together.
3- Photographing seniors is FUN! It’s a laid back experience and we have fun creating fun images. Although I love photographing weddings, photographing seniors is a totally different experience with lots of laughs.
4- Graduating high school is probably the first major accomplishment in your life. Senior photos should help you feel proud of that accomplishment! I will make you feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful/handsome in front of the camera while we celebrate YOU! I love being there for you during this huge milestone in your life. Following the tips on the senior style guide will ensure you feel your best in front of that camera.
5-The images- I know how important these photos are to you AND to your family!! Your mom will show them to all her friends because she’s so proud of how successful and beautiful you are in everything you do. That makes me excited to do a great job on these photos for you. We will be sure to get a variety so you can share a new one every #seniorsunday on Instagram. And outside of the social media part of it, I know these photos will last a lifetime and will be something you show your kids someday. So it’s always an honor to me when chosen as someone’s senior photographer!
