I just simply love these two- and their wedding was such a fun reflection of who they are. They both have big families and know SO many people so it was a huge wedding! I loved being able to feel the love and support for them from everyone there.
I’ll start now at the very beginning, I’ve known Pat most of my life. We bought one of our first horses from his dad when I was a kid so our families knew each other for years. So getting to see so many people I’ve known for many years is always such a joy at a wedding. I didn’t “meet” Amber until the consultation call but we have just cliqued ever since then! I always loved chatting with her throughout the planning process and so loved that she kept me informed throughout the whole thing. I could talk with her for hours and hours, she is just the sweetest person and SO organized!!!! Pat, you picked a good one!
So now let’s talk about the wedding, what a beautiful day!! There was rain the forecast but it held off and gave us a gorgeous early fall day and I’m so grateful. The wedding party had a hay wagon as their chauffeur vehicle so the good weather was a blessing!! Speaking of wedding party, they sure were a fun group! After the ceremony, we headed up the road to a friends farm for some gorgeous portraits (the light was dreamy, wait until you see when you scroll!!).
Then the evening was topped off at the fairgrounds with their 500(+!!!!!) guests for dinner and dancing. A DJ AND a Polka Band!! When you see them setting up, you know you’re in for a party crowd. My mom is from a huge polish family so seeing a big group dance to a polka band always makes me feel right at home.
As I’ve said above, this day was perfect and so fun. Amber was truly a vision in her dress and I am thrilled with all the gorgeous portraits we captured. I just have to give such a shoutout to her for TRUSTING me 100%. That allows my creative vision to “get it done” without being doubted and always makes the day go so much smoother, it also gives the bride peace of mind and let’s her have her best day ever. That was for sure the case this day. Dream clients! Enjoy my favorites from their day below.
P.S. thank you Pat and Amber for trusting me to capture this incredibly special day for you!!
Pat’s mom passed away a few years ago, so Amber made a tie with her and Pat’s picture on it to give him on the day of the wedding so she could be there with him. It was the sweetest most thoughtful gift, I loved it and so did he!
Big THANK YOU to the amazing vendors that made this day happen!!
