I knew on the very first call we had that I would absolutely love working with Brett and Ali. I went to high school with Brett so I knew he was outgoing but I had no idea him and Ali would compliment each other’s personalities so well. They are both incredibly bubbly and outgoing and we had so much fun talking about the wedding planning and all things life at their engagement session! They were so engaging with each other and you’ll see that reflected in their pictures. This makes my job SO fun! I love love love capturing genuine happiness and emotion.

We started their session at Galecke Park on land and ended up going on a boat for the second half of the session. This was a first for me and I wasn’t exactly sure how it was going to go but I absolutely loved it!! I got to meet Ali’s parents who were our chauffeurs and we all had so much fun. The shots on the boat with the water and in the water are some of my faves. It was a perfectly cool summer day. So PSA: do something unique for your engagement photos! I was thrilled when Ali brought this idea up to me and I couldn’t be happy with what we captured. Give me all the boat engagement sessions!!!
