This was the first I’ve ever photographed identical twins for their official senior photos, and how fun it was!!!! You may remember the blog post with Melissa and Makayla in the beautiful Apple Blossoms earlier this summer. (find that post here) But being their official senior photographer was so fun! I’ve known Melissa and Makayla since they were born. I graduated with their older brother and I still remember when the teacher came in to tell us that Zach had new baby TWIN sisters!! How cool! Watching Makayla and Melissa grow into beautiful and talented young ladies has been so cool.
Since this wasn’t a traditional session, we didn’t treat it like one! We customized it so the girls could have photos taken on 2 nights. I normally photograph a senior on one night for up to 2 hours with 2-3 locations and multiple outfit locations. With Melissa and Makayla, they wanted to do their sessions together so I got to photograph both girls on 2 different nights!! This allowed them to both get MAJOR variety in their galleries and I’m so glad we did it this way because we had an absolute blast and got some beautiful pictures.
Today I’m sharing night one of their two night session. The weather was perfect and the sun gave us that incredible glow that everyone wants! Be sure to scroll all the way through because these 2 look like absolute Disney princesses in their prom dresses swirling in the field!! And at the very bottom are my FAVORITE images from the sunflower field!! All the heart eyes!
